The Internet and Pregnancy Advice

How lucky are we to live in this day and age when information and advice can be reached as easy as typing on a keyboard. Even if you gotta take it one keystroke at a time the amount of information available out there is invaluable.

If you've just begun looking for advice on pregnancy, or on the new parenting front, you’ll find the amount of help out there is immense. Sites of all various angles and viewpoints are out there if you just look. Here are a few we found with interesting and helpful.

Pregtastic

This is a weekly online radio show which “celebrates the fantastic journey to motherhood.” But the site also hosts a live community of contributors from experts to regular everyday new moms which makes it extremely informative as well as supportive.


The Shape of a Mother

This site provides support to those of us who believe we are beautiful and proud of our “baby bellies”. Women come together to share their experiences in trying to love their bodies again after child birth.


New Dad Survival Guide

It is exactly what it says it is. From pregnancy to birth and then the reality after this site explains the abc’s and 1-2-3s of parenthood just for dad.


Mamas on Bedrest & Beyond

Is a service provided to those who are on bed rest or in high-risk pregnancies. Their site also features an informative blog and links to many resources for mothers to be.
