How do I remove stretch marks

The best way to get rid of stretch marks is to prevent them in the first place. Use of preventative creams, serums, and lotions during stretch mark inducing times (e.g., pregnancy, weight change, adolescence, etc.) can help you avoid stretch marks. It's why Robelyn Labs recommends our Elastin3 as protection against stretch marks.

Preventing stretch marks may not be an option

Perhaps it's too late and you already have stretch mark scarring. Or you're genetically predisposed and preventative treatments failed you. There are many reasons why you'll develop skin scarring even with protective treatment. But fortunately, skin care technology advances quickly and the choices of stretch mark treatments are plentiful.

Stretch mark laser treatments

Medical lasers are used for everything today, and stretch mark removal is one option. Laser treatments can work however, they come at a cost. Since they're a medical therapy they often require a trip to the doctor’s office for treatment. And worse, depending on the severity of your stretch marks you may need multiple sessions. Since the laser can burn and irritate the skin treatment sessions can span over weeks - with recuperation and discomfort in between each visit. And then there's the cost too. Of course laser treatments can and do work well for many.

Prescription retinoids

Retinoids are a derivative of Vitamin A. Again prescriptions can work for many, however, cost and convenience is also a factor with prescription treatments. And some are allergic or suffer side effects. But if other stretch mark solutions have failed - retinoids creams can be a good option when used under medical supervision.

Stretch mark removal creams

Advances in formulations and skin care ingredients are transforming what’s possible through topical application. New cosmeceutical ingredients that help repair or reduce the appearance of stretch marks appear on the market almost daily. Because of peptides and derivatives of time-tested antioxidants and emollients results have improved dramatically over the years. Topical stretch mark creams and lotions now absorb deeply and infuse stretch mark scars with potent ingredient mixes.

Obviously, we’re enthusiastic about our own Elastin3. It’s combination of ingredients has helped tens of thousands see dramatic improvements in existing stretch marks and helped others prevent their formation all together. So if you’re adverse to surgery, laser treatments, or prescriptions, then perhaps a topical cream such as Elastin3 is the right choice for you.
