Capture the pregnancy experience

A lot of new moms-to-be are uncomfortable in their state of pregnancy, but the fact is that most will look back after those days are long past and think fondly of the moments she spent creating a new life. Help her to capture the moment of being pregnant by booking a photo shoot with a professional photographer. Or put together an album full of images you have captured as she has gone through the stages of being pregnant.

Help her look her best while pregnant

Maternity clothes are eventually going to be a necessity. It can get expensive purchasing clothes for such a temporary state of being, but it will happen. Especially with the holidays around the corner every mom-to-be in her 3rd trimester will be searching for something to wear for family parties that don’t make her feel like a giant wrapped present. A gift certificate to a maternity store or to a maternity clothes rental site will help her get through the pregnancy and still look fabulous.

A way to self indulge

The options here are endless. Anything that will help her to take some time for herself and self indulge. Put together home spa kits with relaxation in mind, full of aromatherapy products, eye pillows and candles (make sure you get a variety for scents so moms sensitive nose can find one that is pleasing). Buy her lotions and belly creams that help lessen the appearance of stretch marks like Elastin 3. Get her gift certificates for massages or mani and pedis. The list goes on...

A free meal

A mom-to-be needs to find time to slow down and relax. What better way can you help out then by taking away the chore of feeding the family. You could provide gift certificates to favorite restaurants, but make sure they have a delivery service so there is no need to get dressed up to head out. Or find some “freezer recipes” online and make a few freezer meals for her, so that on a particularly busy day she can just pop them out of the freezer and into the oven.
